Rotwood is the fifth rarest addition in terms of wood (see Elderwood), released in the 2.5.0 update on December 24th, 2017. Rotwood appears to have a green bark, with a black core, and a rusted texture. It has a apperance similar to Plaguewood, only much taller and skinnier. It's leaves are a matt black color.

Rotwood trees appear to have a green, rusted bark, and black leaves.

Rotwood trees use the same model as the Wanwood tree.

Trivia

• At anytime in the game ( mostly at night ) when a rotwood spawns on front of the overseer kingdom looking form the outpost, it's leaves blend in and can only be identified as rotwood if the trunk is visible.
• It has a similar, but does not the same model as wanwood, as it is much bigger, and has less side branches.
• It's color scheme is is awfully similar to Plaguewood. Although it is more of a blackish-green than a orange-brown color.
• At the right places and at the right times, this tree can be very apparent form across the map. ( Yes this does cause competition. )
